UX Designer

As a UX Designer for Just Walk Out Technology, you will join an entrepreneurial team to solve challenges that have likely never been addressed by anyone before. User Experience in this space spans customer-facing digital experiences that adapt to physical store environments, mobile apps, corporate applications, and associate tools.

Responsibilities

• Work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more startup than big company.
• Collaborate with product, research, software, operations, and business teams to create experiences with a direct impact to customers.
• Collaborate closely with other design disciplines including industrial design, store design, and UX in partner teams.
• Meet with customers, in-store associates, or members of corporate operations to observe behavior, share ideas, or run usability evaluations.
• Synthesize insights into new ideas that may influence larger new strategies or incremental improvements to products.
• Work with product and engineering teams to align on feasibility and viability, advocating for what best meets user needs.
• Build mockups, prototypes, or prepare finalized designs for engineering teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Design experience
• Delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
• Prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)
• Mass-market consumer web/mobile products experience

Experience

• 5+ years of design experience
• 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
