We are calling Robotics Software Engineers, Controls System Development Engineers or Firmware Engineers to join our In-House Controls team within World-Wide Central Engineering. This global role requires a dynamic individual eager to travel and lead the deployment of cutting-edge robotics automation solutions across our international network.
Responsibilities
- Developing, deploying, and scaling automated solutions globally
- Delivering pioneering solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing and new facilities worldwide
- Developing and deploying the software for all future WW AMZL automation, from software design through to commissioning and deployment and operational on-call support
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional software/system development experience (non-internship)
- Experience with designing and creating architecture for scalable systems using modern software design patterns
- Proficiency in at least one Object-Oriented programming (OOP) language; C++, C#, Java, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities of Robotics/Controls systems
- Excellent communication skills across diverse cultural contexts
- Willingness to travel up to 30% according to business needs
- Good writing skills
Experience

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
