Software QA Engineer

As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing across mobile and backend features. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Swift (XCTest/XCUITest) and Python while also performing manual testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases, and regressions that automation may miss.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated testing infrastructure.
• Manually validate new features.
• Ensure seamless integration across Apple's ecosystem of platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Swift (XCTest/XCUITest) and Python.
• Perform manual testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases, and regressions that automation may miss.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to understand feature requirements, define test strategies, ensure high-quality releases.
• Craft test plans,test cases assess risks,file appropriate defects.
• Communicate test results advocate for quality help drive process improvements within cross-functional discussions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Swift/XCTest/XCUITest
• Experience developing software tests in Python for test automation tooling or machine learning
• Proficiency in manual/UI testing willingness to engage in both

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation
• Experience in Swift/XCTest/XCUITest
• Experience developing software tests in Python for test automation tooling or machine learning
• Proficiency in manual/UI testing willingness to engage in both
• Experience developing test plans,test cases assessing risk filing appropriate defects
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
