Software Engineering Project Manager (EPM)

A software engineering project manager (EPM) is sought after to lead teams crafting future products that will delight, inspire, and empower millions of people. They will drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in spatial computing, augmented reality, and 3D rendering for visionOS and other Apple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in spatial computing, augmented reality, 3D rendering for visionOS and other Apple platforms.
• Partner with engineering management to lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Demonstrate high integrity, high energy, comfortability in a dynamic environment.
• Build strong collaborative relationships within the organization as well as cross-functionally.
• Confidently manage conflicts/challenges along the way.
• Be responsible for successful outcomes/delivery.
• Drive projects with attention to important details.','Communicate clearly on status/risk.

Skills & Qualifications

• Solid experience in system software/project management.
• Strong communication/leadership skills.
• Track record of driving/delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience driving/critical project features involving integration across multiple teams.
• Knowledge of software development practices.
• Create/execute plans in ambiguous settings; identify priorities/drive importance.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills (written/verbal).
• Excellent collaboration skills; foster trust across teams.

Experience

• 5+ years of related experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in software program/project management.
• Prior experience in augmented/virtual reality/computer vision/machine learning/artificial intelligence/3D rendering engines.
• Consistent track record leading/shipping multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience driving/delivering critical project features involving integration across multiple teams.

Education

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant industry experience.
