Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate

This role involves maintaining store appearance, managing inventory, and assisting customers with product selection and demonstration. The individual supports in-store operations by executing merchandising tasks and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs.
• Builds relationships with vendors to ensure merchandise resets meet Lowe’s specifications.
• Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs.
• Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service.
• Engages with customers to assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by guiding them through projects.
• Communicates information about stock, special order merchandise, features, benefits, applications, and warranties related to Lowe’s programs.
• Moves or replaces beams and grids, rotates stock, builds products, and displays products using power equipment per reset/project instructions and processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Customer service skills
• Ability to read planograms/plantograms
• Knowledge of merchandising standards
• Familiarity with power equipment operation

Experience

• 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience (preferred)
• 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays (preferred)
• 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment (preferred)

Education

• High school diploma or GED
