Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate

This role involves providing customer service, managing merchandise resets, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and ensuring accurate product display and pricing within Lowe's stores. The position supports both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through the execution of Lowe's policies and procedures.
• Builds relationships with vendors to ensure merchandise resets meet specifications.
• Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and manager to communicate project priorities and needs.
• Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service.
• Engages with customers to assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions.
• Communicates information about stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties.
• Moves or replaces beams and grids, rotates stock, builds products, and displays products using power equipment per instructions.','Identifies damaged products and removes them from shelves for RTM processing.','Verifies buyback items for shipping readiness.','Orders replacements for damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral.','Confirms product pricing visibility and resolves missing pricing labels.','Updates/validates wayfinding and product location signage digitally.','Ensures cross-merchandise placement to drive add-on sales.','Stages clearance/damaged merchandise for quick sale.','Sorts products in bins, drawers, and boxes properly.','Merchants plants according to plantograms, prices, colors blocks, places plants upon arrival.','Fills plant racks onto plant tables per grand opening standards.','Reviews/completes task details for all assigned merchandise resets/maintenance tasks.','Repairs/seals damaged packaging/boxes including peg-hook items.','Removes trash, moves cardboard boxes to the bailer/plastic wrap/debris to the compactor.','Replaces light bulbs and reports maintenance issues to contacts.','Detects shoplifting/theft/security risks and communicates them to management/Asset Protection.','Maintains housekeeping standards (Zone Recovery) for cleanliness/organization of store/work areas.','Conducts daily safety reviews/noting hazards/securing doors/gates.','Adheres to safety requirements (top stock safety/safety cables/aisle blockers/tether lines/spotters).','Operates store equipment as needed (Zebra phones/copiers/fax machines/CCTV systems/key cutters/paint mixers/etc.).','Maintains point-of-sale signage including bin plus beam label stock ensuring all bin locators are placed and price changes are activated.','Audits updates pricing labels inside/outside the store to ensure accuracy.'],

Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with power equipment operation (lifts/order pickers)

• Safety awareness/certification
• Communication skills for interacting with customers/managers

Experience

• 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience (preferred)
• 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms/plantograms
• 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts/order pickers

Education

• High school diploma/GED
