Seasonal Cashier

Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies procedures and programs. Seeks out customers to understand his/her needs and assists in locating demonstrating selecting carrying and/or loading merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand his/her needs and assists in locating demonstrating selecting carrying and/or loading merchandise.
• Listens to and responds knowledgeably promptly to customer associate questions by taking them to areas of the store walking them through projects when necessary.
• Demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicates information to customers regarding all stock special order merchandise feature benefits application warranty information related to Lowe’s programs.
• Writes customer contracts invoices for equipment rental tool repairs Tool Rental Department. Cross-functionally trains in other areas of the store help deliver best customer service. Detects common signs shoplifting theft other security risks promptly communicates them management/Asset Protection. Ensures compliance housekeeping standards programs e.g Zone Recovery maintain cleanliness organization store working areas. Maintains safe secure work environment may include conducting daily safety reviews noting hazards keeping aisles clear securing doors gates. Adheres all safety requirements relevant one’s regular job duties top stock safety reinstalling safety cables use aisle blockers tether line power equipment spotters safety devices. Operates store equipment needed depending one specific role department e.g Zebra phone telephone paging system copiers fax machines computers CCTV surveillance system key cutter panel saw paint mixer flooring cutters compacter baler tool rentals

Skills & Qualifications

• $16.90 $17.20 per hour

Experience

• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology
• Less than 1 Year Retail experience
