Pharmacy Intern

As a third-year pharmacy intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment while delivering exceptional care to each patient. You will contribute to patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, reaching overhead, extending hands and arms in multiple directions.
• Precision control for adjusting machines to exact positions.
• Stooping ability for moving items between low and high positions.
• Close visual acuity for transcription, computer terminal viewing, reading, and inspecting small parts.

Experience

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Education

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
