Pharmacist

Walgreens pharmacists are medication experts who provide expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients. They educate patients on medication usage/side effects/cost-effective options. Pharmacists deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations/diagnostic testing/medication therapy management. They mentor/train pharmacy team members in a collaborative/supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate/expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate/consult patients on medication usage/side effects/cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations/diagnostic testing/medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding/dispatching/regulatory compliance.
• Mentor/train pharmacy team members in a collaborative/supportive environment.

Experience

• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling/verification(records/legal compliance/pharmacy operations/pharmacy software/technology systems/insurance).'],'education':[
• certified immunizer or willingness to become certified within 90 days of hire.

Education

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
