Carry out PPM on all types of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems utilising all types of refrigerants – ammonia, F-Gas (HFC and HFO), carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons. Reactive service including fault-finding mechanical, electrical and control systems, including performing emergency standby rota duties.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM on all types of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems utilising all types of refrigerants – ammonia, F-Gas (HFC and HFO), carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons.
- Reactive service including fault-finding mechanical, electrical and control systems, including performing emergency standby rota duties.
- Compressor repairs and overhauls.
- Leak testing.
- Pressure testing.
- Refrigerant recovery and charging.
- Ability to operate on own initiative and as part of a team to effect attainment of agreed targets and objectives
- Ability to develop a good understanding of our customers business requirements and operations
Skills & Qualifications
- Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken – a 'can-do' attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel and Word
Experience
- Ideally completed a formal apprenticeship in Refrigeration
- CITB Safety Passport
