Guest Service Agent

Conrad Indianapolis is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join the Front Desk Team. This is an opportunity to grow your career in a Fortune 500 company within a sophisticated luxury brand. The hotel offers 247 guest rooms, 15,000 sq ft of meeting space, two food and beverage outlets, and is connected to The Arts Garden and Indiana Convention Center.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and registering guests and checking them out of the hotel
• Inputting and retrieving information from the computer
• Confirming guest information and room rate
• Selecting rooms and coding electronic keys
• Promoting marketing programs and providing welcome packets
• Assisting guests with check-out processes including accounting for rooms/services, using POS systems, handling payments, converting currencies, and processing gift certificates/cards
• Demonstrating knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local areas, and answering guest inquiries
• Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services/facilities and maximize room occupancy

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of hotel operations including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, local areas
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong communication skills
• Customer service orientation

Experience

• $17/hour based on applicable experience and location
• Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
