As the Engineering Manager for the Vault Cryptosec team, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for advancing the product’s security, scalability, and enterprise readiness for our self-managed offerings.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse and high-performing engineering team.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Drive the team to deliver on feature requests enhancing the product's capabilities.
- Expand and enhance features, ensuring it remains a key differentiator for product.
- Work closely with Design, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align on product vision and deliver innovative solutions.
- Develop and refine robust processes to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of product.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Vault’s architecture and ecosystem, guiding technical decisions and prioritization.
- Prioritize and address customer issues and feedback, continuously improving the customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in cloud services and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Go and familiarity with other programming languages (Python, Ruby).
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
Experience
- At least 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Experience leading diverse product engineering teams is highly preferred.
