Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register providing customers with courteous fair friendly efficient checkout service.
• Engages customers patients by greeting them offering assistance with products services.
• Resolves customer issues answers questions to ensure positive customer experience.
• Models shares customer service best practices with all team members delivering distinctive delightful customer experience.
• Provides customers courteous friendly fast efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale customers recommends trade-up companion items.
• Registers customer purchases assigned cash register collects cash distributes change requested processes voids returns rain checks refunds exchanges needed. Keeps counters shelves clean well merchandised takes inventory maintains records. Checks in prices merchandise required directed store manager communicated shift leader. Implements Company asset protection procedures identify minimize profit loss. Ensures compliance state local laws regarding regulated products e.g. alcoholic beverages tobacco products. Constructs maintains displays promotional seasonal super structures sale merchandise. Completes resets revisions directed. Assists separation food items e.g. raw foods pre-cooked product placement specified policies procedures e.g. raw frozen meats bottom shelves. Consumable items assist stock rotation using first-in-first-out method restock outs. Working knowledge store systems store equipment. Provides customer service photo area including digital passport photo service poster print creative machine suggestive sell promotional photo products. Assumes web pickup responsibilities monitors orders Picture Care Plus fills orders pick items delivers orders customers arrive store. Assists exterior interior maintenance ensuring clean neat orderly store condition appearance. Complies company policies procedures maintains respectful relationships coworkers. Completes special assignments other tasks assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• > Fluent in reading writing speaking English except Puerto Rico
• > Willingness work flexible schedules including evenings weekend hours

Experience

• Preferred: Six months of experience retail environment
• Preferred: Prior work experience Walgreens
