ASIC Engineer

As an ASIC Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative consumer products. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive product definition, execution, and verification throughout the design lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Participate in logic design, verification, and post-silicon validation as part of Amazon custom silicon solutions.
• Work with physical design teams to meet performance and area requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of end-customer requirements including software applications, use models, system architecture, and SoC architecture/micro-architecture.
• Develop and execute design automation mechanisms and flows.

Skills & Qualifications

• RTL coding and debugging skills
• Performance/power/area analysis/trade-off experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages,System Verilog coding language proficiency
• Familiarity with modern ASIC/FPGA design tools

Experience

• Troubleshooting/debugging technical systems or demonstrating software engineering skills via internships/work experience/coding competitions/publications
• Experience working closely with physical design teams to develop highly optimized ASICs

Education

• Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related fields
