Applied Scientist Gen AI

This role involves driving the invention and development of novel multi-modal agentic architectures and models for the use of Generative AI methods in advertising. The candidate will collaborate across disciplines to build innovative solutions for generating high-quality creatives on behalf of advertisers.

Responsibilities

• Drive the invention and development of novel multi-modal agentic architectures and models for Generative AI methods in advertising","Work closely on end-to-end proof-of-concept Machine Learning projects with high degrees of ambiguity, scale, and complexity","Build interface-oriented systems that utilize Machine Learning models, perform proof-of-concept experimentation, optimize, and deploy models into production","Curate relevant multi-modal datasets","Perform hands-on analysis and modeling of experiments involving human-in-the-loop scenarios to enhance traffic monetization and merchandise sales without compromising the shopper experience","Run A/B experiments, gather data, perform statistical analysis","Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, machine-learning model development, validation, and serving","Mentor and help recruit Applied Scientists to the team","Present results and explain methods to senior leadership","Willingness to publish research at internal and external top scientific venues","Write and pursue IP submissions

Skills & Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field with 4+ years of experience in building models for business applications","Programming proficiency in languages such as Java, C++, Python or similar languages","Experience in algorithms/data structures/parsing/numerical optimization/data mining/parallel/distributed computing/high-performance computing","Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments","Professional software development experience

• 3+ years of building models for business application experience","PhD/Master's degree with 4+ years of CS/CE/ML-related field experience","Experience in patents/publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences/journals"],[],
